August 4th: From the Debs:
Here is what has been going on this week. Hope I don’t miss anything and they may not be in order.
A6 hatched on 7/26 and was excavated on 7/29. Only 5 unhatched out of 106 eggs.
A9 has had 1 baby – We will excavate tonight when we finish A22
A11 was excavated last night with a total of 25 babies to the water over 5 nights. There was stringy calcium on many of the eggs.
A12 hatched with an awesome 80 out of 82 babies make it to the water!
A13 is still being monitored
A15 is still being monitored
A19 is tarped and being monitored
A22 was our wild nest that hatched at day 54 and babies went everywhere. WE WILL EXCAVATE TONIGHT AT 5:30
A23 hatched last night on day 54 with over 90 babies go to the water in about 15 minutes.
A24 has an indention and will be tarped tonight.
Lots coming up this weekend. If you are a nest coordinator for any of the ones coming up starting the 7th, please go by and check them. I think that is all.
