Orange Beach H-1 on Sunday Morning
Sept 26th – H-8 Excavation
H8 produced 4 more babies last night!!! This was a great nest with 110/113 hatching. 2 infertile, 1 dead pipped.
Tina spent many hours/all nighters listening to these four so it was only fitting that she rescue them at excavation!!! Great job Tina – Thank you!!
Big thank you to the volunteers and visitors that helped keep this trench dug and deep. It kept the babies in line (lol) and it was much needed with those Turquoise lights!!
I cannot imagine how many turtle cookies Jerrie has baked this season. Not an evening goes by without passing around the delicious treats between volunteers and visitors.
We met so many great visitors at this nest! Thank you to several for your help and support!
Lisa
PS: Thank you to the folks at the Orange Beach Waffle House for providing the egg flats. It makes accounting for all the eggs at an excavation so much easier.

H9 is active! Waterfalls were heard last night. They are deep as this is another deep nest. However, you never know how fast those babies will make it to the top. Tonight would be great since we have the FreshFamily group coming.
Pls keep yr phones charged and close by as we could have a big crowd at this nest when it hatches and could use your help!!
