Sept 1 — A-35 & A-36
A35 at Surfside hatched on day 55 shortly after tarping. It is really close to
the Nash’s home and they are monitoring and said they are ok without nest
A36 at the Dunes is being monitored by Marci and she is hearing some noise
and expects it to hatch in the next couple of days.
Sept 4 — A-36
A38 hatched about 9:30 with an amazing boil of 95 (approx) babies.
This was the coolest boil I have seen. I think all the babies on the
bottom were in such a rush to get up that they were pushing the top
ones almost up in the air.
A39 hatched between 70-75 at 12:05 AM. One of the volunteers got
some photos I think .Thanks for all who came out to help and witness this event.
Debie & Debbie

> I want to thank Cathy Necci, Mary Boatman and Barbara Haines for working with us on Nest A39. All three of them are new this year and the only ones there to help when it boiled.
> All worked hard and the nest was a big success.
> Cathy and Barbara came faithfully every night to A15 and that one never boiled. So they were
> happy to help with one that did.
There were about 95 babies that made their way to the water.
Thank goodness Vickie Clark went to check on Thursday and
made the wise decision that it needed to be tarped then. Thanks to all who helped.
We are getting close to the end of the season with just
2 more nest for us Let us know if you want to be part of
these last nests.
