From Tina Scott – (Ft Morgan Team Leader) – June 10th
I started today walking Rt 6 [subbing] for Amanda Atkins. All I could think about was how could I have missed that nest the other day. You might say I was looking for redemption and there it was. A crawl – although it was a false crawl it was still a crawl. I know the conditions were perfect today and if I missed this perfect specimen I would have to go to the eye doctor, especially this 39″ wide crawl.
[… Clip …] I ran into Lisa Collins as she was busy educating some visitors to the area. They came with Lisa to check out this crawl that went right through the tent before turning around and returning to the water. Mark brought out the bucket and the party commenced. We even had Bradly the fisherman excited about some marks in the sand.
By the way while we were taking the stats Bradly caught a salt Water Catfish and a Pompano. Catch and release much to the dissatisfaction of the Great Blue Heron standing by for breakfast.
