Come out on April 6th to greet old friends or to make new ones. Talk with Team Leaders and returning volunteers to learn about out volunteer effort and gain insight into the process we use to help nesting sea turtles along the Alabama coastline. Mike Reynolds, the permit holder for Share the Beach, the Alabama Sea Turtle Conservation Program, will share the history and mission of the program as well as a recap of the outstanding 2016 nesting season.
So if what you see here on our web pages, the blog, videos and photos, and our Facebook page grabs you, if you want to learn about and help a threatened species, and you are willing to volunteer a few hours a week during the Alabama sea turtle season – May to October – bring $10 to cover the Volunteer Registration fee and join a group of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers.
See you there and see you on the beach!
